Buying an Omega 3 GNC brand, or other discount product, may be tempting for your wallet, but there are considerations to make before choosing the lowest price.

Ingredients such as gelatin and glycerin are used to lower costs, as they are filler ingredients. The product contains 300 mg of DHA and EPA. GNC does not disclose, however, how much of each fatty acid is present. There may be 299 mg of DHA and only 1 mg of EPA.
The product is not fish oil. It is a supplement made using fish oil and mixed with other ingredients to cheapen its production cost. Frankly, your body deserves better than this. In making a decision, you will need to weigh the cost benefit with the quality of the product you are purchasing. Is the little bit of money you may save buying a GNC supplement worth the questionable ingredients? If it is not worth it to you, there are much better alternatives that will are still affordable.
